Raising our profile

The RMF Board, through the RMF Administrator, has concentrated its efforts during the last year on continuing to raise the profile of the charity amongst the medical community. The raising of the profile of the RMF is necessary in order to make the medical profession aware that there is help at hand to those doctors and/or their dependants who are in need or distress.

Throughout the year, as part of the continuing policy of the Trustees to raise the profile of the RMF, the staff have attended medical seminars and similar functions in order to exhibit the RMF's excellent mobile display board and to distribute the Foundation's literature.

Seminars attended during the reporting year include the BMA Local Medical Committee's annual meeting in London and the BMA Annual Representatives Meeting in Llandudno.

The RMF has placed a number of editorials and advertisements in leading medical journals and has updated the charity's literature, which is circulated to all local medical committees, medical societies and Royal Colleges.
